SELECTED WORK

The work is the proof.

Brand, campaign, digital, experiential and operational work led from business problem through idea, production and launch.

MORE WORK

Four more ways I've solved the problem.

HOW I WORK

I don't sit at the end of the marketing process. I help shape it.

The strongest creative work starts before anyone opens a design file. I work with leadership, product, sales, customer teams and marketers to understand the business problem, find the story, define the opportunity and build the creative system that gets the idea into the world.

Then I stay close to the work. I can direct a team, brief an agency, write the headline, design the piece, edit the video, prototype the experience or jump into the problem myself.

01Find the problem.
02Shape the idea.
03Build the system.
04Make the work.
05Measure & evolve.

ABOUT

Creative director.
Marketer. Builder.
Still curious.

I've spent my career refusing to choose between being strategic and being creative.

I started in marketing, discovered graphic design, and never really looked back. I learned how campaigns worked, how businesses sold, how teams got things done — and how much better the work could be when creative had a seat at the table early.

That has taken me from Digital Federal Credit Union, through Stratus, and most recently Tripleseat, where I led creative while building the systems that let lean teams operate at a much larger scale.

There's a little more to the story.

I earned my B.S. in Business Administration from Stonehill College, then pursued a certificate in graphic design and landed at Digital Federal Credit Union, where I worked across marketing, campaigns and design as the organization grew from $200M to $5B in assets.

After starting my family, I went back for my MBA at Fitchburg State University. At Stratus, I moved deeper into creative leadership, eventually leading a global creative function across 10 markets and nine languages. I also trained for and ran the Boston Marathon in 2014 — something that wasn't remotely on my radar until I found a group of runners who pulled me into it.

Outside of corporate life, I've always made things. I wrote, recorded and released three full-length albums, performed up and down the East Coast, and eventually wrote, recorded and became the on-air talent for five seasons of Totally Patriots, a Sunday-morning kids' TV show built around educating young fans about the week's NFL rivalry, history and game.

So yes, I'm driven. I like ambitious goals, complicated problems and work that has to be done right. I also like making things, leading people, and finding the unexpected idea that makes a good project better.

THE MACHINERY BEHIND THE WORK

The invisible work matters, too.

Creative operations should make better creative possible — not make everyone spend more time managing the work.

OTHER PEOPLE SAY IT BETTER

Good work is one thing.
How you lead it matters.

You are the kind of leader who makes designers sharper and creative thinkers better. Whoever gets you on their team is making a smart move.
